Syntax

SHOW COLLATION
    [LIKE 'pattern' | WHERE expr]

Description

The output from SHOW COLLATION includes all availablecollations. The LIKE clause, if present on its own, indicates which collation names to match. The WHERE and LIKE clauses can be given to select rows using more general conditions, as discussed in Extended SHOW.

Similar information, including some extra information (such as, from MariaDB 11.4,.5, which collation an alias refers to), can be queried from the Information Schema COLLATIONS table.
